On Thursday 17 October, FSI and Finance Dublin hosted a one day summit addressing key issues facing growth oriented financial services businesses, offering delegates a comprehensive choice of sector and topic driven panels.
The Summit offered cutting edge analysis, with an emphasis on innovations, fintech, and developments in the context of the major world forces at play in finance in 2017-2018, such as Brexit, new regulatory developments in the US, the EU and globally, and the continued rise in importance of Asia and the Middle East in the world financial services trade picture.
The Summit focused on the world-leading clusters of excellence located in Ireland that are at the forefront of delivering solutions to global markets in: Aircraft Leasing, Investment Funds & Asset Management, Market-Based Finance, Reinsurance, Specialty Insurance, International Life Assurance and International Banking.
Innovations in financing, and business organisation are at the forefront of financial services in 2017, as a result Fintech formed a theme in many of the Summit discussions.
