Title: About FSI


Financial Services Ireland (FSI) is the only financial services industry association that spans the totality of the financial services sector. Financial Services Ireland has a membership base of over 180 financial institutions spanning the breadth of the financial services sector - including banks, building societies, insurance companies, fund administrators and managers, investment companies, leasing companies, stockbrokers, treasury companies and other providers of financial services. Financial Services Ireland provides a single forum for the leaders in the financial services sector to discuss and resolve issues of common concern. FSI was established in 1984 and is a constituent part of IBEC.

Financial Services Ireland is a membership driven organisation and its work programme is determined by the interests of its members. Individual members are encouraged to raise issues of concern with FSI executives.

Financial Services Ireland Executive Board

The Financial Services Ireland Executive Board is chaired by Fergus Murphy, EBS Building Society. Membership of the Executive Board is drawn from the membership of Financial Services Ireland and from other industry associations. The Executive Board seeks to reflect the full diversity of interests in the sector. Members of the Executive Board are as follows:
